NYE with ILLY in Sydney
I jumped on board with Australian Hip-Hop royalty, ILLY to bring in the new year for 2022. Supported by an absolutely badass two piece band with Ben Ellingworth on drums and multi-instrumentalist Patty Gabriel, this one off was sure to be massive!
Enter COVID and we lost the engine room, Benny on drums (he’s perfectly fine now) to the spicy lung the day before the show. The band and Management jumped into gear and got Darwin local Tor to fly in and learn the set within 24 hours and he killed it.
With some challenging set backs through the day on site at the festival, the team banded together to have a great show and bring in the New Year with bang. It was an absolute pleasure to work with such a great team and was a tonne of fun to let lose on big rig PA after being cooped up in COVID lock downs with no large scale shows.
