2022 Show Prep
Well, 2022 is just around the corner and the calendar is filling up with shows for both existing and new clients as well as shows covering fellow sound hounds as everyone starts to see clashes with so many shows being attempted with only so many crew available.
2022 is shaping up to be an eclectic year which is exciting. Mixing across genres from pop and rock to blues, hip hop and alternative.
Prepping for 2022 using the AVID S6L as my console of choice means i’ve been getting to nerd out building show files and play with multi tracks for incoming clients. Preparing ahead of rehearsals means i can maximize our time on site during production rehearsals and quickly refine the show to meet the expectations of each and every artist.
The legends down at the Eventcraft “The Hub” have helped me out by providing a space that i can turn it up without annoying the dog during the day, allowing me to monitor via d&b audiotechnik Y7P’s and B6 subs to ensure translation to the large scale PA’s is seamless.
Shows being prepped include: ILLY, Slowly Slowly, GRAACE, Josh Teskey & Ash Grunwald, Short Stack and a couple more that are still hush-hush.
